Ron Mix is a Pro Football Hall of Fame member, attorney, author, and advocate for retired professional athletes whose career has spanned both elite professional sports and nationally respected legal work. Throughout the final 15 years of his legal practice prior to retirement, Ron held the prestigious AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest distinction awarded for legal ability and ethical standards by judges and fellow attorneys. This recognition reflected the respect he earned within the legal profession for both his skill and integrity.

Today, the practice continues through Mix, Namanny & Berger, where his son Charles Mix serves as part of the leadership team. The firm remains a nationally recognized practice representing retired professional athletes in workers’ compensation matters and continues operating from Southern California.

Beyond football and law, Ron has remained deeply involved in supporting retired athletes and their families. He currently serves as President of the Pro Football Retired Players Association, an organization that provides healthcare-related benefits and support services to more than 10,000 former football players and over 3,000 spouses of former players.
